This blog is written and run by one person under the pen name StarWhale. I build self-hosted infrastructure, automate things, study for engineering certification, and run trading experiments, then write down what actually happened.
Write to the address above and I will reply once I have read it. Ordinary messages are usually answered within three business days; privacy access or deletion requests are handled within seven.
Messages I welcome
- Corrections. If a number or a configuration in an article is wrong, please tell me. I verify it, fix the article, and note what was changed.
- Questions from following a build guide. Tell me where you got stuck and I will answer, then add that pitfall to the article itself.
- Privacy requests. Access, correction, deletion or export of data stored with a comment you left. Details are in the privacy policy.
- Copyright concerns. If any text or image on this site infringes someone’s rights, tell me and I will act on it immediately.
- Quoting and reuse. Quoting with attribution needs no permission. Please ask first for full reproduction or commercial use.
What I cannot take on
This is a one-person site, so the following requests are declined. Saying so up front should save us both some time.
- Sponsored posts, or publishing copy written by someone else
- Backlink exchanges and paid link placement
- Individual investment advice. The trading articles are records of my own experiments, not recommendations.
- Solving individual exam questions on request
